The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is excited to announce Weatherford FC as a new member starting with the 2019 Spring Season.

Based west of Ft. Worth (Tex.), Weatherford FC will begin UPSL Pro Premier play in the Central Conference North Division. The club will host its home matches Kangaroo Stadium (250 Eureka St., Weatherford, TX 76086) in compliance with UPSL's Minimum Standards.

United Premier Soccer League Central Conference Manager Matt Kahla said, "The Central Conference continues to grow with quality clubs. When Brandon Medrano, a former player at Keene FC, approached me about opening up Weatherford FC with his Dad, Everardo, as Owner, I was very excited to help him get the process started. I am confident that Weatherford FC will be a great addition to the North Division for the 2019 Spring Season."

Everardo Medrano is Owner of Weatherford FC. The team is operated by Brandon Medrano and Curtis Vance.

Weatherford FC General Manager Brandon Medrano said, "We're very excited to be joining the UPSL. There's tons of talented players in this area, and they've all been looking for something like the UPSL and its clubs to help raise the level here. We're working hard to bring a quality product to the players and fans in Weatherford because we believe in the UPSL Pro/Rel Model and what it can mean for communities like ours across the country."

Medrano, 24, is a native Texan and former varsity soccer player at Weatherford High School. He played collegiate soccer at Abilene (Tex.)'s McMurray State and Ranger (Tex.) College.
